Kristie Miller is the Challis Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney and co-director of the interdisciplinary Centre for Time. She is the author of seven books, most recently The Normative Status of Time Bias: An Empirically Led Investigation, and Out of Time (with Sam Baron and Jonathan Tallant). She publishes widely in the philosophy of time as well as in metaphysics quite generally, and has previously held an ARC DECRA, an ARC Senior Research Fellowship and an ARC Future Fellowship. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.

Prof Miller's research interests lie primarily in metaphysics, though she has been known to dabble in related areas. In particular she's interested in mereology, space-time, composition and persistence. She mostly tends to think about chunks of matter and randomly arranged configurations of particulars.
