ProfessorDavid Fletcher

David Fletcher has a BSc and PhD in mathematics from the University of Exeter UK, and an Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in Chemical Engineering from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France. He is an Adjunct Professor at Sydney University. His expertise is in the numerical simulation of fluid flow, heat and mass transfer and coupled systems, including Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) problems. Over his career, he has published over 350 journal papers in CFD, with emphasis on combustion, multiphase flow, mixing, micro-flows, pharmaceutical inhalers and various biomedical systems, including nasal flow and heart valve simulation.
