MrDamian Barbeler

Barbeler has interests in sound, sound design and mixing, as well as the building of sound sculptures and novel interfaces for creating electronic sound. He composes for concert platform thought more often with integrated visual and lighting elements. He has an ongoing interest in creative process, and especially in how novel creative processes can lead to innovation and more spontaneous artistic expression as well as opportunities for young artists to develop their craft and careers. In particular Barbeler enjoys en plein air composing: composing and creation of sound-based work in situ, for example in the bush, as a means to discovering new and interesting forms of aristic expression.
