SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy

Since 2024, I have served as Early Career Researcher (ECR) Representative for EEC SOLES. In this role, I organised and host:

 

  • ECR workshops, such as “Enhance Searching Skills and Research Profile” with USYD librarians.
  • networking events that integrating researchers from EEC and other Themes. 
  • Informative sessions, such as “ECR’s Funding Application Support” with A/Prof Andrew Merchant.
  • Provided mentorship and guidance to HDR students and postdocs, helping them navigate academia and career development.

 

Through these efforts, I have fostered a supportive, collaborative research environment, ensuring professional and collegial interactions with students, professional staff, and fellow academics.

    SOLES Strategic Partnerships Seeding Grant

    To promote the development of new collaborations by SOLES academics within the school or, where appropriate, with other schools within the University. The seed funding scheme is designed to support the establishment of new research areas to promote future applications to major funding schemes. The expected longer term outcome is to uplift research performance and generate new research directions through collaboration by attracting grant income from external funding agencies and by publishing in high impact journals.
