LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy

Professor Caillaud currently coordinates BIDH5003 – Foundations of Digital Health, a postgraduate unit that introduces students to the core principles of digital health, including the impact of emerging technologies on healthcare delivery, ethical and socio‑technical considerations, and the evaluation of digital health tools. Through this unit, students develop critical thinking skills and gain hands‑on experience using digital health interventions in real‑world contexts.

She is also contributing to the development of a new unit within the Bachelor of Biomedicine and Health, a future‑focused undergraduate degree delivered at the Westmead Health Precinct. This program provides students with integrated learning in human biology, health systems, and public health, along with opportunities for authentic, practice‑based learning in one of Australia’s largest health and medical hubs.
