SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy
Dr. Anderson is passionate about providing opportunities and high-quality training and teaching to students and junior academic researchers. Further, given the increasingly multidisciplinary nature of academic science, he is interested in fostering interdisciplinary exchange, training, and collaboration among early career academics and students. Thus, current key service roles include being the 2026 Chair of the School of Medical Sciences Early and Mid Career Researchers Working Group, the Professional Teaching Lead for School of Medical Sciences teaching into the Faculty of Engineering, and a Co-Founder of Pubtalks, a multi-disciplinary biomedical science and engineering seminar series that provides speaking opportunities to research trainees.
