SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy
I bring extensive leadership experience in academic administration and safety management within the School of Physics. As Chief Warden for Physics Building A28, I lead the Emergency Control Organisation and oversee comprehensive safety protocols and emergency procedures.
My administrative portfolio encompasses significant financial and operational responsibilities, including management of procurement projects valued at $1.7M, strategic contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, and development of financial oversight systems for multi-million dollar budgets. I provide leadership in team management, training coordination, and serve as the primary authority for technical and safety compliance across our laboratory facilities.
Beyond operational leadership, I actively contribute to the broader academic and public communities through multiple channels: organising industry engagement events, coordinating academic workshops, and championing physics education through extensive outreach activities. These include participation in educational panels, media engagements, and collaboration with the Powerhouse Museum to enhance their collection supporting space missions and physics education initiatives.
This commitment to service reflects my dedication to advancing both the operational excellence of our institution and the public understanding of physics.
