DrChristopher Barnett

Dr Barnett is a Lecturer in the School of Chemistry and is passionate about integrating contemporary research into chemistry education.

He regularly teaches first-year chemistry and has developed advanced undergraduate teaching in areas including flow chemistry and sustainable manufacturing. He is actively involved in creating research-led laboratory experiences that expose students to modern chemical research techniques and technologies.

Throughout his academic career he has contributed extensively to student mentorship and research training, supporting Honours, PhD, and Dalyell students across a broad range of projects spanning catalysis, electrochemistry, and reaction engineering.
