BIO

Caroline has a diverse background in veterinary medicine, distinguished by her international education and research endeavours. She embarked on her veterinary academic journey at the Veterinary University of Vienna, Austria, where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, majoring in Conservation Medicine. This provided a robust foundation for her work in wildlife health.

Caroline has honed her skills and knowledge across the globe e.g. at the Coral Springs Animal Hospital in Florida, USA, the Vancouver Aquarium and Marine Mammal Rescue Centre in Canada, the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital in the United Arab Emirates, and the Veterinary University of Zagreb in Croatia. These experiences allowed her to delve deeply into various facets of Wildlife Health and Management, learning from world-renowned wildlife veterinarians, managers, and researchers.

Her academic pursuit led Caroline to the University of Sydney in 2013, where she completed her PhD and since transitioned into a full-time role as a Lecturer and Researcher shaping the next generation of veterinary professionals while advancing research in wildlife health.
