Bart’s teaching is grounded in the belief that education is an act of leadership and care. He designs learning environments that combine intellectual rigour with authenticity and connection, bringing theory to life through experiential activities, real-world challenges, and opportunities for deep personal reflection. His aim is to foster classrooms in which students think critically, feel valued, and develop not only strong strategic and analytical skills, but also confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. This approach has been recognised through multiple teaching awards, including the prestigious Wayne Lonergan Award for Outstanding Leadership in Teaching, several student survey awards, and multiple nominations for institutional and national-level recognitions, including the Australian Business Deans Council Award for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
