Azadeh Safarchi is a microbiologist and bioinformatician with a PhD from the University of New South Wales. She brings expertise in human gut microbiome research, metagenomics, gut modulation interventions, bacterial respiratory infections, and molecular biology. Her research focuses on gut resilience, the role of microbial communities in gut health, and their implications in cancer development and treatment.
Azadeh is an active committee member of the Gut Microbe Special Interest Group (SIG) within the Australian Society for Microbiology, contributing to national discussions and advancements in microbiome science.
