RESEARCH INTERESTs
Aravind’s research sits at the intersection of cryptography, decentralisation, and automation. He likes to ask: “How can we let many mutually suspicious parties transact, compute, and coordinate—securely, privately, and fairly?”
He works on:
-
Decentralised systems and blockchains – making ledgers that can be trusted without trusting any single party.
-
Cryptocurrencies and digital payments – designing protocols that keep transactions private while still auditable and secure.
-
Fairness in multi-party computation – ensuring no one can cheat, abort, or walk away with an unfair advantage.
-
Post-quantum cryptography – building schemes that stay secure even in the presence of quantum computers.
