LEARNING & TEACHING SUMMARy
My principal teaching is in the Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion at the Sydney School of Public Health, where I am part of the teaching team. I contribute across the program, with a particular focus on implementation methodology and health promotion practice, and I work on curriculum content development, adaptation and updating, learning materials and academic support for students.
I also teach in the Doctor of Physiotherapy program in the School of Health Sciences, with a focus on clinical reasoning, rehabilitation, and telehealth and hybrid models of care in real-world practice. My teaching there is grounded in clinical experience across Australia and Chile, including supervision in complex public hospital settings, and emphasises structured decision-making, patient safety and culturally safe care. I contribute to indigenising the curriculum in this program, incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into rehabilitation teaching.
