Research projects & supervision summary

My current project work includes IMPACT, which develops and evaluates mHealth approaches to support people living with dementia and comorbidities in Peru, where I contribute to methodology, protocol and ethics, and implementation support; and Foot Selfie, which evaluates AI-enabled monitoring to prevent diabetic foot ulcers, where I lead protocol design, ethics and pilot evaluation.

Through my role in the Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion, I also apply part of my research time to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research projects.

I have contributed to major multi-site clinical trial operations through multiple clinical trials, including a stepped-wedge cluster-randomised trial of post-thrombolysis monitoring in acute ischaemic stroke across more than 100 hospitals in five countries, where I coordinated operational delivery across international sites, including site preparation and audit readiness, monitoring visits, database setup and validation, and protocol compliance.

I also contribute to the development of multi-partner grant proposals and implementation programs in digital health and health systems, supporting study design, adaptation planning and partner coordination. Across these programs, I support and mentor research staff and early-career researchers, strengthening study delivery, methodological quality and publication development within multidisciplinary teams
