Research projects & supervision summary

Dr Carrigan is currently the Senior Research Fellow on two NHMRC and MRFF projects that examine, implement and evaluate a telehealth enhanced model of care for residential aged care homes and general practitioners. Using mixed methods, the outcomes will support clinicians and residential aged care service providers to make evidence-based decisions on the utility and effectiveness of telehealth in the safe and high-quality care of residents.

She is also working with the DHHG on several projects:

·      SEIPS and digital health: A scoping review

·      Heuristic evaluation and expertise

·      Evaluation and optimisation of Florence: An integrated, multi-component digital patient journey solution

·      Evaluating the impact of electronic prescribing on clinical workflows in hospital settings

·      Digital health workarounds in general practice
