Angela is a Senior Lecturer and has worked within the Discipline of Accounting, Governance & Regulation. She holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree (1st Class Honours) from The University of Sydney and has completed a PhD in 2017 which focused on 'Assurance of Natural Resource Management'. Angela completed a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education in 2017 continuing her expertise in teaching both UG and PG audit units and research across Auditing, Non-Financial Assurance. Her research focuses on the impact of contemporary factors such as non-financial information/sustainability reporting and technology adoption, particularly AI, on the auditing and assurance profession. My research aims to understand how the profession is evolving in both private and public contexts and what challenges exist for practitioners and the implications for business education. Prior to academia, Angela worked in Telecommunications and was an Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand (PwC).
