ProfessorAndrew Moorhouse

Service to the discipline, collegiality and mentorship are key pillars of a strong academic culture and Andrew makes significant contributions to Physiology and Education leadership, both Nationally and Internationally. With a particular focus on our Asian neighbours, Andrew has developed and/or taught teaching or research workshops in China, Thailand and Pakistan and has more recently been an invited reviewer of Faculty programs and appointments in Oman, Malaysia and Hong Kong.  Andrew is currently a member of the BGA of the International Union of Physiological Sciences and acted as co-Chair from 2023-2025.  Andrew has enjoyed a long and frutiful research collaboration with Japan (Kyushu, Kobe, Okazaki) and is currently a Visitng Professor at The National Institutes of Physiological Sciences.
