Research projects & supervision summary

Ameneh Khatami has led the development of a standardised protocol for administration and monitoring of phage therapy (the STAMP trial) which has been endorsed by adult and paediatric infectious disease groups in Australia and New Zealand. This trial has been recruiting patients throughout Australia since April 2022 and represents a unique opportunity to generate a large volume of systematic phage therapy data which has not existed anywhere to date.
