RESEARCH INTERESTs
Amanda’s research investigates the causes and consequences of biological variation. She uses field work and laboratory techniques, along with meta-analyses and comparative analyses on a range of study systems (fish, marine invertebrates, seaweeds, reptiles), to understand why and how phenotypic variation exists to predict how it will evolve in response to a changing climate, and how biodiversity will be shaped by future environmental change.
