A/Prof McKeough has been engaged in the following projects:
· Use of oxygen supplementation for exercise training in people with COPD who experience exercise-induced oxygen saturation
· A behaviour change intervention to reduce sedentary time in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
· Associations of Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Phenotypes with Mortality in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
· Implementing evidence into practice to improve chronic lung disease management in Indigenous Australians: the Breathe Easy, Walk Easy - Lungs for Life (BE WELL) project.
· Minimal equipment for aerobic training in COPD
· An innovative GP and physiotherapist model of care for COPD
· The addition of a physical activity intervention within pulmonary rehab
· Effect of walking training on daily physical activity in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
· Use of a mobile health platform for people attending pulmonary rehabilitation
· Developement and evaluation of decision support tools in primary care for diagnosis and management of breathlessness.
