BIO

Dr Zhaoli (Joy) Dai-Keller (PhD, MS, MA) is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, University of Sydney. She is a food and nutrition researcher and epidemiologist passionate about translating the concept of "Food is Medicine" into healthcare and self-care practices to enhance healthy aging and reduce functional decline, particularly the prevention of cognitive impairment, dementia, and frailty for older people. Her research, from epidemiological studies to healthcare systems and policy research, aims to use this evidence base to design and implement cost-effective interventions to reduce malnutrition and maintain functional independence, enabling older people to age well in the community and reduce the burden of long-term care services in the challenge of population aging.
