RESEARCH INTERESTs
Ulrike Grünert's expertise is the functional neuroanatomy of the mammalian retina with special focus on the primate (including human) retina. Her work has been instrumental in defining neural circuitry of the eye especially related to the retinal ganglion cells and their connections with other retinal cells and ganglion cell targets in the brain.
