DrTheresa Fruth

I am passionate about creating positive and inclusive working environments through sustained EDI initiatives and communicating science to a wider audience.

EDI initiatives:

• I am part of the core organising team of Physics Unboxed a free one-day program designed to encourage and inspire high school girls to continue their studies in science, with a focus on physics, for the HSC and beyond.
• I chair the EDI committee of the Centre of Excellence for Dark Matter Particle Physics.
• I am part of the Homeward Bound leadership program for women in STEMM and voyaged to Antarctice in 2025.

Community engagement:

•  I collaborated with an artist and wrote a science fiction short story for the DARK MATTERS exhibition at Science Gallery Mebourne.
• I wrote an article about the LZ dark matter experiment for The Conversation.
•  I co-organised and spoke at Dark Matter at the Pub in 2024 in Canberra and Sydney.
