BIO

Dr Tatiana Proboste is a veterinarian with a strong background in wildlife health and ecological research. She holds a master’s degree in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, and a PhD from the University of Queensland, where she investigated disease transmission at the wildlife–urban interface.

Tatiana’s research focuses on the spatial ecology of disease transmission, with a particular interest in animal movement and contact networks. She applies spatial and network analysis to understand how interactions among animals influence the spread of pathogens across landscapes, supporting evidence-based management of wildlife and zoonotic diseases.
