Sveta Postnova leads the Circadian Physics and Sleep Dynamics Group in the School of Physics. Her interests are in brain dynamics and interaction between the brain, body, and environment. Specific topics include sleep-wake cycles, cognition, and circadian rhythms. She uses methods from physics, mathematics, and data science to develop quantitative models of brain dynamics and unify those with experimental data with the aim to explain mechanisms and design tools for health monitoring and disease prevention.
