Sinan's research focuses on understanding how the electrical conductivity distribution of the Earth, derived from magnetotelluric and other electromagnetic geophysical techniques, relates to tectonic and magmatic processes. He approaches this through quantified interpretations that integrate insights from geochemistry, petrology, magnetotellurics, and thermomechanical modelling.
