DrSahand Mahmoodian

Senior Lecturer in Theoretical Optics & Photonics

Faculty of Science

BIO

Sahand is a theoretial physicist researching many-body quantum optics and light-matter interaction. He is interested in both the fundamental behaviour of quantum optical systems and in using these systems for building useful resources for quantum technologies. Sahand is currently a Senior Lecturer at Sydney. He was previously  an ARC Future Fellow and an Associate Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence EQUS. Before joining Sydney, Sahand worked at The Niels Bohr Institute, the University of Copenhagen and The Institute for Theoretical Physics at Leibniz University Hannover.
