DrSahand Hooshmand

Sahand is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Medical Imaging Sciences at the University of Sydney and a Radiographer at Lumus Imaging. He recieved his BMedSci in 2015, MDR in 2018, and then recieved his PhD in 2023 with a research interest in breast cancer imaging and radiation dose. He is also the coordinator of the Medical Image Optimisation and Perception Group (MIOPeG) and an editor of the Journal of Medical Radiation Science (JMRS). Sahand is a rigurous researcher and passionate educator, as was reflected in his recent teaching award from 2021.
