DrRyan McMullan

Dr Ryan McMullan is a research fellow within the Digital Health Human Factors Group in the Sydney Nursing School at the University of Sydney. He is an experienced mixed-methods researcher working across a range of health settings including in hospitals and residential aged care. Dr McMullan’s interests include medication safety, safety clutter (low value patient safety practices), and digital health. His research has aimed to improve hospital organisational culture and patient safety practices to optimise the delivery of safe care to patients. He has been a chief investigator on two grants with funding totaling AU$5.07M, including as a chief investigator on a Medical Research Future Fund grant.
