BIO

Rosalind is a nurse with 30 years’ experience, including 20 years’ clinical research experience in critical care settings. She has worked in the health and tertiary education sectors. She currently job shares the role of Research Manager – intensive care (Royal North Shore Hospital).
In addition to paid work Rosalind is an associate editor for the journal, Australian Critical Care and a reviewer for many journals including BMJ. She is an active member of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses and represented the College on the National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce (Australia).
Her principal research has been to pursue better outcomes for the critically ill including improved sleep and reduced rates of pressure injuries and falls. However her track record also includes research in other settings including primary care. She is currently supervising one higher degree by research student (investigating the scope of nurse practitioners in intensive care) and has been awarded research grants to support this.
