BIO

Rosa Taghikhah is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Business Analytics at the School of Business Analytcis and Marketing. Her research develops computational approaches — including optimisation, simulation, and machine learning — for responsible and explainable artificial intelligence (AI), with applications to sustainability challenges and high-stakes decision-making. Her work has been recognized by several peer-reviewed top-tier journals (e.g., European Journal of Operations Research), international awards (e.g., two Early Career Research Excellence Prize) and grants (e.g., the Australian Research Council Linkage), with a strong emphasis on analytcis. She is a member of Women in STEM and encourage the involvement of young women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Rosa is currently Deputy Program Director for the Master of Commerce and a recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence as Early Career Teacher of the Year.
