Professor Benjamin's undergraduate courses include: "Pollock to Psychedelia", "French Art: from Salon to Cézanne", and "Art is the Issue: Histories and Theories of Art" (Honours); at Master's level "The Art Museum: Past, Present and Future".

Professor Benjamin supervises Honours, Master's and PhD theses in the fields of Aboriginal Art, European Art, and Orientalist art.
