DrRamin Mostofi Zadeh Farahani

Dr Ramin Farahani is a Lecturer at University of Sydney who investigates the role of temporal dimension in adaptiblity of biological systems. Micro-RNAs, in particular, are used as biological tools that access the temporal dimension and communicate novel adaptive signatures. His research currently focuses on the following areas:

• Reprogramming of ontogeny via temporal dimension
• The role of miRNAs in reprogramming the temporal dimension
• The role of miRNAs in buffering genetic noise
• Evolution of microRNAs and the associated interactome
