DrNichola Calvani

Nichola's teaching philosophy is student-centred and research-integrated. Through innovative pedagogy, mentorship, and outreach, she actively works to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, ensuring that students develop technical expertise, research acumen, and problem-solving skills. This approach is evidenced by a high level of student retention, successful research and scholarship outcomes, and consistently positive feedback. As Nichola is in a research-only role for the duration of her DECRA, the majority of her teaching contributions have occurred through research-led teaching. This approach allows her to directly integrate practical experience with current research innovations and industry engagement into student learning, significantly enriching their educational experience beyond traditional classroom settings.
