Public Health Physician and Breast Physician (in clinical practice) with expertise in breast cancer diagnostics, in particular population screening.
Awarded the NBCF 10-year chair in Cancer Prevention. She leads the breast cancer research portfolio and team in the Daffodil Centre (FMH). Specific areas of research:
- Digital breast tomosynthesis for screening
- New breast imaging technologies for screening or staging
- MRI in high-risk women; pre-operative imaging and staging
- Breast cancer risk and prevention
- Individual participant data (IPD) meta-analyses
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cancer screening; AI in cancer communication
- Metastatic breast cancer epidemiology
