Mu'ath completed his PhD at the University of Sydney in 2025 on deep learning for cardiovascular risk prediction from mammograms. His research builds and validates AI models for breast imaging — including breast arterial calcification detection and grading — to enable opportunistic cardiovascular risk assessment from routine screening.
