BIO

Monika is an early career public health and health services researcher who completed a Master of Public Health in 2001 and a PhD in 2022. Prior to completing her PhD, Monika worked in diverse health research disciplines for over 20 years in Australia and abroad. These included work with WHO's Neglected Diseases Initiative, the Psycho-oncology Co-operative Research Group, the Centre of Research Excellence in Medicines and Ageing, the Translational Australian Clinical Toxicology program, and the ARDC National Poisoning Databank project. Monika is an adjunct research fellow at the Centre for Alcohol Policy Research, La Trobe University.
