Lecturer in Work & Organisations: Healthy, Sustainable & Inclusive Work
Dr Mina Askovic is a Lecturer in Work & Organisations, with a focus on healthy, sustainable and inclusive work. Her research examines how work can be designed to foster individual, team and organisational thriving, with a particular focus on healthcare and essential service contexts. An advocate for evidence-based practice, Mina's interests lie in translating academic research into practical insights that help leaders and organisations make better people-related decisions.
Before joining WOS, Mina worked as a Senior Research Consultant for SEC Newgate, one of Australia's most sought-after firms for public affairs, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and market/social research. In this role, Mina leveraged her research expertise to provide strategic recommendations to clients.
Mina holds a Bachelors degree in Health Science (Behavioural and Social Science in Health, Hons I) and a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the University of Sydney. Her doctoral research focused on corporate volunteering programs with a focus on how organisations can design initiatives that create value for multiple stakeholders.
