Title: Geometry of conics and quadrics

Summary of opportunity:

Systems of conics and quadrics are omnipresent in mathematics. Despite seeming simplicity of mathematical objects given by second-order algebraic equations, they possess rich structure that re-appears in various contexts within mathematics and in applications.

Opportunity synopsis:

The aim is to deepen the understanding of systems of conics and quadrics, such as pencils and confocal families
