- A/Prof Caruana is currently involved in the development of Australian models for the ongoing epidemiological and economic evaluation of changes in the detection, management and treatment of prostate cancer, lung cancer, multiple myeloma, ovarian cancer and melanoma, and the systematic screening for Lynch Syndrome.
- A/prof Caruana is the trial statistician for Compass, an ongoing open-label individually-randomized RCT designed as the first major evaluation of 5-yearly HPV vs 2.5 yearly image-read liquid-based cytology cervical screening in an HPV-vaccinated population.
