RESEARCH INTERESTs
Dr Mehdi Toghyani is a Lecturer in Poultry Production and Nutrition. His research interests include evaluation and optimisation of energy and amino acids requirements in both meat chicken and layer hens, nutritional evaluation of alternative feed ingredients for poultry, evaluation of novel feed additives, trace minerals and exogenous enzymes to improve poultry gut health, nutrient utilization and feed efficiency.
