BIO

Dr Megan Finch-Edmondson is a Senior Cell Research Fellow and leads the Regeneration Program at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Institute. She is an affiliate of The University of Sydney in the Sydney Medical School, Children's Hospital at Westmead, Faculty of Medicine and Health.

 

Megan is an emerging leader in stem cell research for cerebral palsy, clinical trials and lived experience engagement. Her team is currently working to develop clinical trials for the prevention and treatment of cerebral palsy focused on a variety of cellular therapies and other neuro-therapeutics. An important part of this is working with people with lived experience via the CPA Stem Cell Consumer Reference Group, which she founded in 2018. Megan is also involved in implementation of the Australian and New Zealand Cerebral Palsy Strategy, and administration of the CPA Lived Experience Engagement Fund.
