SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy

Malmi Amadoru has served as a lead organiser of the Academy of Management (AoM) Professional Development Workshop (PDW) on Computational Theory Construction since 2022. This PDW brings together leading international scholars and fosters collaboration between computational and qualitative researchers, with a strong emphasis on mentoring early-career researchers and supporting theory development. 
Malmi frequently shares her methodological expertise in computational theory construction at the Academy of Management and is invited to present at various universities.
 
Malmi contributes extensively to the academic community through peer reviewing for leading journals and conferences, including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research (ISR), and Information Systems Journal (ISJ), the Academy of Management (AoM), International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). She has served as an Associate Editor for leading conferences, including the Academy of Management (AoM) and the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS).
 
Malmi serves as Faculty Advisor to the Business Information Systems Association (BISA) student group, where she supports student engagement and contributes to building a vibrant student community within the Business Information Systems discipline.
