I joined the University of Sydney in May 2001 after having been a postdoc at the University of Sheffield (UK). During my time at the University of Sydney I collaborated extensively with people scattered around the globe and loved doing field work. Now, I mostly hide in my office in Far North Queensland to write popular science books and observe the endangered cassowary.
