Dr Louisa Peralta is an Associate Professor of Health and Physical Education in the School of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney. She is the current program director for Health and Physical Education program and teaches in the areas of primary and secondary health and physical education across programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has research expertise in intervention co-design, implementation and evaluation trials in education. Her research aims to improve the health and wellbeing of school leaders, teachers, children and young people through school settings and curriculum, teaching and learning programs. Recently, Dr Peralta and colleagues have been focusing on co-designing educational frameworks to enhance teachers and young peoples' (digital) health literacy.
