Associate ProfessorKate Thomson

Kate teaches into undergraduate and postgraduate Occupational Therapy programs, focusing on preparing students for their work integrated learning placements. She co-designed and teaches into a workshop program for Clinical Educators, and has previously been an Academic Developer. She is interested in quantitative and qualitative research projects about professional learning, especially informal and collaborative learning. She has experience with grounded theory and design-based research and supervises at Honours, Masters and PhD levels.
