Research projects & supervision summary

Juliet is currently working on SCHS and CPC’s joint research program on the social life of food and nourishment. In this project Juliet is applying critical social theory to systems of food production and consumption. This includes examining the political economy and sociology of Ultra-Processed Foods, connected to a shift from reductionist nutrition (focusing on calories consumed and expended) to nutritional ecology (that considers nutrients in multi-dimensional contexts).
