Associate Professor Julie Djordjevic is a professional member of the Australian Society for Microbiology (MASM), a theme leader (host-pathogen interactions) in Fungisphere (a node of the Marie Bashir Institute) and has Editorship roles with Microorganisms, Journal of Fungi and Frontiers in Microbiology.

She has on-going collaborations with University College London, the Leibniz Research Institute for Molecular Pharmacology, FMP, Berlin, Yonsei University South Korea, University of North Carolina (USA) and Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) Brazil.

She is also collaborating with the drug discovery node of Sydney Analytical
