SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARy

Julian contributes to the Information Systems discipline through editorial leadership, conference organisation, and community tool development. He serves as Managing Editor and Editorial Review Board member of the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), one of the top journals in the field. He regularly reviews for MIS Quarterly and the Journal of Information Technology. Julian has received multiple best reviewer and best associate editor awards at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS). He is Track Co-Chair for the "Future of Work" track at PACIS 2027 (Auckland). He has co-organised professional development workshops at ECIS and contributes to the JAIS Mentorship Programme. Julian also develops open-source tools for the research community, including CoLRev (collaborative literature reviews) and callsforpapers.org.
