RESEARCH INTERESTs

The Jiang group works on interdisciplinary topics, such as:

- Plasma electrocatalysis for nitrogen fixation, CO2 reduction, ozone production, and water disinfection

- Magneto-electrochemistry for hydrogen production, chlor-alkali reaction, chiral fluidic flow, and separation processes

- Functional materials for tribo-charging, fomite testing, fire resistance, and thermal insulation

- Device engineering for driving energy efficiency, reducing costs, and translational research

If you are a prospective Honours student, PhD candidate or Postdoctoral researcher, see our group webpage (https://www.hjj-group.com/opportunities) for current openings and how to apply.

Our research aligns with multiple research strengths within the Faculty of Science, including Molecules to Materials, Understanding Our Planet, Understanding Life on Earth, Renewable and Clean Energy, Climate and Environmental Change, Critical Minerals and Materials, Food Security, Next Generation Materials, Net Zero Technologies, National Security, Earth and Space Exploration and Technologies.
